MAN ProfiDrive: Vehicle technology and innovations

Modern vehicles are high-tech workplaces. Today, drivers no longer only control a commercial vehicle, but a complex interaction of engine, gearbox, brake systems and digital assistance functions. This is exactly where the vehicle technology training comes in. It provides the technical knowledge required to use these systems safely, confidently and efficiently.

The course is aimed at drivers in freight and passenger transport and is recognised as professional driver training in accordance with the BKrFQG – meaning that the training meets all BKrFQG requirements for modern professional training on technology for commercial vehicles. Whether truck, bus or van – this training course is designed for all vehicle types and is based on the current MAN vehicle technology.

In addition to classic diesel technology, alternative drives are also covered, including special features of the Euro 6 emission standard and their influence on engine power and consumption: Electrical, gas, hydrogen and hybrid concepts. This gives drivers the know-how they need for fleet conversions.

Although this is a theory-orientated seminar, there is a clear link to the practical application. The focus is on understanding, operating and applying technology in daily use.
