Radio MMT_3 Advanced additional functions

For the latest generation of the MMT from MY 2020, customers can again obtain optionally available additional functions according to their needs and requirements. The portfolio will be expanded step by step in the future.

Camera preparation

• Preparation for connecting one or two cameras
• The camera image is shown on the 7-inch colour display of the MAN Media Truck Advanced
• Depending on the variant, activation of the camera or switching between cameras is either effected automatically, e.g. when reverse gear is engaged, or manually directly on the radio
• Increased safety and damage prevention when reversing/manoeuvring by displaying the rear environment. Automatic switching when reverse gear is engaged – provides additional comfort and less strain on the driver.

Note

Prerequisite for activation via plug connector is a version 4.2 vehicle SW. Camera activation at the MMT3 for CAM1 input is done at CVM2 pin B/9. Activation via push-button requires a camera changeover button. If not available, the camera changeover button must be retrofitted. The camera(s) is/are connected in accordance with the MANTED® guideline (MAN Technical Data and Installation Guidelines).
