Camera Hub

This Camera Hub lets you keep a constant eye on everything. Connect up to 4 cameras, including the Reversing Motion System, to your MMT-3 infotainment system and enjoy the different camera angles shown on the display. 

This extension is ideal if you want to monitor the rear zone with multiple body cameras, or connect an extra rear view camera to articulated trucks and trailers.

Properties

  • Requirements: Camera Hub Kit 0PKAS or 0PLE9
  • Universally compatible with all the latest camera systems (PAL/NTSC)
  • Install the Camera Hub into the last-but-one ECU slot (second from the bottom) of the central electrical system, and connect by following the instructions on the MAN Service Portal
  • Retrofitting available for vehicles from I-Stage 24-4[MJ24]
  • UN ECE R 158-approved: The components listed in the usage overview meet the requirements of UN ECE R 158 in terms of object size and startup time, taking into account the MAN Body Guidelines and the basic documentation.
  • Sales code 0PHIK "Extension kit for rear zone camera, connection behind cab" is recommended if you want to connect cameras behind the cab.

Notes:  

  • Depending on the application, you'll need a combination of different components. For more details, see the basic documentation on the MAN Service Portal.  
  • To comply with UN ECE R 158, only the parts listed in the usage overview with the right specifications (e.g. cable length, positions) can be used with the Camera Hub. Please refer to the MAN Body Guidelines.
