Mobile media centre: To make your daily work routines easier, the three variants of the MAN Media Van infotainment system combine the control of vehicle functions, radio, telephony and more in a single unit. The MAN Media Van with 10.4-inch touch display is equipped with DAB tuner, Bluetooth and MAN SmartLink for convenient pairing of your smartphone as standard. On request, the MAN Media Van Navigation with 10.4-inch touch display and the MAN Media Van Navigation Business with a generous 12.9-inch display enhance your infotainment experience. Discover additional functions such as web radio, media streaming, intelligent voice control, precise navigation or in-car communication for better communication with the rear row of seats.
Emergency call, MAN Breakdown Service and MAN Info call services can be operated via the roof console of your vehicle. Together with the MAN telematics box installed in the vehicle, they are your constant companion for emergencies, breakdown assistance or for technical questions about the vehicle and its operation.
In case of serious accidents with casualties, every second counts. Using the emergency call button, the driver can reach the nearest emergency call centre directly without a smartphone. This happens automatically when an airbag is triggered. To ensure that rescue measures can be initiated quickly, additional information defined by legislation, such as the location of the accident, is automatically transmitted to the emergency call centre.
In the event of a breakdown, the driver is connected to a member of staff at the MAN Mobile24 emergency call centre via an automatic voice call by pressing the MAN Breakdown Service button. All relevant vehicle data, such as vehicle location or fault codes, are transmitted automatically. The MAN Mobile24 employee will also inform the nearest MAN workshop so that the vehicle can be repaired quickly and according to requirements. No smartphone is necessary for the MAN breakdown call.
To clarify vehicle-related questions, the driver can also reach the MAN Mobile24 centre via the MAN Info call button. A Mobile24 employee is immediately on hand to provide advice and assistance. This function is also available to the driver without the need for a smartphone.
Advanced technology for improved safety: MAN TGE models up to 3.5 t are equipped with intelligent accident recording as standard. In the event of a collision, this function records and stores critical, accident-related parameters and information – in the phase shortly before, during and immediately after the collision. In this way, valuable data is made available for accident investigations and analyses of safety equipment effectiveness.
