Perfect shop window for the customers
What would a truck be without a body and a body without a truck? At the MAN Trucknology Festival, MAN Truck & Bus celebrated its traditionally strong ties with its industry partners and customers.
Walid Aichouche (left) from Eurl Dtr Trans and his colleague Abdelkebir Charkaoui rely on MAN for journeys through the desert: "The technical options of the trucks surprised me. In my home country of Algeria, it's hard to get all this information."
John-David Schnackenberg, Head of Bodybuilder Management, was pleased about the personal contact with the exhibitors: „"It was great to have the partners together again and to be able to show the broad portfolio of real customer solutions that we have developed together with them."
Christian Kliemann from Magirus presented innovations for fire engines: "We had a pleasing response. And it was a good opportunity for us to present the new rear-axle auxiliary steering for turntable ladders to the fire brigades, which makes it easier to use the vehicle in particularly narrow buildings and areas with difficult traffic conditions."
James Hanlon travelled from England: "The classic car exhibition and the tour of production at the MAN plant were absolute highlights for me."
Alexander Romberg works for the company F.X. Meiller, which was already present at the first edition of the festival 15 years ago: "The event has evolved and for us as a partner it offers the perfect stage to present our new Trigenius three-way tipper. We always enjoy being part of this roadshow."
Hugo Hurkmans from MAN Individual explains technical features to the visitors: "The firefighters thought it was good to see what potential the steering has. Over all the days, the atmosphere was always friendly and relaxed. You can just tell that the visitors are very interested."
