Ergonomic, haptic, comfortable: the multifunction steering wheel
Full control in both hands: With the multifunction steering wheel, bus drivers can quickly access all important functions while concentrating on the road traffic – and keeping their hands on the wheel.
Its multifunction buttons are ergonomically arranged on two separate control isles. Thanks to logical functional grouping, all control buttons are easily accessible within a thumb length. Access to the individual functions is possible without having to change your grip. In combination with the 12-inch digital display positioned directly behind the steering wheel, drivers have all important information at a glance while being at the helm.
A variety of adjustment positions allow the driver’s workplace to be adapted according to the driver’s height and physique.
Focused driving pleasure with the 12-inch driver’s display
One glance is enough: the fully digital and high-resolution 12-inch driver’s display enables drivers to capture all relevant information effortlessly and in the shortest possible time – thus being able to react quickly. This prevents visual overstimulation and fatigue, which helps to improve driving safety.
The colour display uses clear elements and modern 3D views to provide information on vehicle and engine speed, navigation, media and assistance system messages while displaying warnings and notices. Thanks to smart details, such as the semi-circular scaling of speedometer and rev counter with indicators moving in opposite direction, there is much more space available in the centre of the display for additional information compared to using complete dial instruments with indicators moving in the same direction.
Practical: Depending on preference, the display can be called up intuitively and conveniently via the multifunction steering wheel or the left drop arm (without multifunction steering wheel) and set individually: either in the full screen view for displaying important information such as the bus stop display in large view – or in the home screen view with central main display and alternating displays at the side.
Turns the journey into an experience: new infotainment with 7-inch media display
Exceptional infotainment is becoming increasingly important when on the road: That is why the modern MMC (MAN Media Coach) Advanced media system offers drivers and passengers an exceptional infotainment experience with a wide range of functions for audio, video, communication and navigation. Because safety is paramount, it features user-friendly, low-distraction operation.
The system has a separate 7-inch media display in the driverʼs side viewing area that visualise the media functions. It is conveniently controlled via a classic control panel, the multifunction steering wheel, MAN SmartSelect [smartselect-availability] or by voice command. Choose between the driver mode, which can be used to access and display all media, and the passenger mode, which only displays relevant content for passengers that drivers can offer them to choose from.
Practical: The integrated message centre shows current information such as incoming calls, radio stations and traffic data at the bottom of the display. In the upper area, there is a quick select menu for individually defined content such as navigation destinations or telephone contacts which can be quickly accessed via the control panel or MAN SmartSelect.

The ergonomic seat and the multifunction steering wheel assure a comfortable working environment. Comfortable and intuitive operation: MAN SmartSelect
The main menu can conveniently be accessed using the large bottom rotating ring.
The smaller rotary/push ring is used to precisely navigate through sub-menus and to select individual functions.
It is easily possible to enter letters or numbers by just tracing them onto the touchpad with oneʼs finger.
