What you will learn

Step-by-step, you will develop your skills through our offroad driving training, which combines theory and practice, along with further HGV training for extreme offroad situations. The aim is to raise awareness among participants and teach them how typical offroad situations can be handled safely and with low wear. This gives you a deep understanding of safe offroad driving.

Practical driver training

• Moving-off aids and lock management for offroad vehicles
• Driving safely on crests, dips, bends and handling inclines
• Steering and braking on loose ground
• Judge overhangs correctly
• Secure loads on heavy vehicles for offroad driving
• Using MAN HydroDrive

We'll teach you the skills you need to safely manage uphill and downhill gradients, use ABS and HydroDrive offroad and consistently maintain control of your vehicle offroad. The aim is to fully exploit the potential of your HGV offroad while protecting the vehicle and driver in the best possible way.

Our offroad driving training course is certified as advanced professional driver training under the German Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG), with possible funding by the Federal Office for Goods Transport (BAG).
