What you will learn
The training course complies with the Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG) and covers important topics such as active and passive safety in theory. Incidentally, our efficiency training (with the exception of intensive efficiency training), can also be funded by the Federal Office for Goods Transport as professional driver training. You will learn how to:
- Detect hazardous situations and react appropriately.
- Drive to save fuel while minimising wear.
- Make optimum use of assist systems such as Emergency Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.
- Mitigate the consequences of accidents by familiarising yourself with restraint systems for the driver and co-driver as well as optimised cab deformation behaviour.
- Share your knowledge within the company as a multiplier.
On the practical side, you will learn how to achieve savings and increase economic efficiency in traffic with anticipatory driving. We handle topics such as maintenance costs and fleet management as well as analysing consumption values from the on-board computer.
