This flexibility extends to the energy supply. Thanks to the modular battery concept, you can perfectly adapt the MAN eTGM to your daily routes. The chassis’s widely recognised body mounting compatibility is fully retained in the main applications of distribution transport, facilitating the use of standard bodies such as box bodies or refrigerated bodies.
In classic distribution transport for general cargo, parcels or in food logistics, the MAN eTGM is an ideal choice for demanding routes. With its higher payload compared to the MAN eTGL and optimum design for trailer operation, it also handles heavy loads efficiently and over a long range. Its optimised wheelbases ensure high manoeuvrability and effortless manoeuvring in narrow inner cities.
Demanding applications with PTO
The MAN eTGM also offers a suitable solution for vehicle applications in which additional units need to be driven. The mechanical PTO (mPTO), available ex works, makes it the ideal choice for applications in the construction industry or municipal services, e.g. for medium-duty tipper bodies. A high-voltage interface is also available for temperature-controlled transport, which reliably supplies cooling units with energy.

Charge level & range: The permanent display of the battery charge level (SoC) and the range forecast calculated on this basis gives you complete planning certainty.

Modular battery system
You can configure the MAN eTGM with two, three or four battery packs for a maximum usable capacity of up to 320 kWh. This modularity allows you to achieve the perfect balance between range, payload and cost for your business. We develop and manufacture our battery systems ourselves at the MAN site in Nuremberg, using high-quality NMC cell chemistry This means high quality and reliability, direct from the manufacturer.
Flexible positioning of the charging connection
The charging concept is just as flexible. You can select the position of the charging connection according to the CCS standard to suit your depot infrastructure: left or right behind the cab or a combination of left behind the cab and right at the end of the chassis. Charging capacity also scales to meet your needs: The MAN eTGM charges to 250 kW with two battery packs and achieves a high peak charging capacity of up to 375 kW with three or four packs.
