• General information on cross-border crime and smuggling
• Overview of the most important / most frequent misdemeanours and criminal offences
• Hiding places on and in vehicles
• Procedures of thieves, smugglers and traffickers (also of refugees travelling unsmuggled)
• Criminal and civil consequences of delinquency, criminal offences and other consequences
• Preventive measures for truck and bus drivers (checklist)

Course objective:

Participants will be familiarised with important provisions under administrative offences and criminal law for crossing the border and sensitised to the procedures and behaviour of thieves, smugglers and traffickers.

In addition, behavioural methods for victim avoidance are presented.
