Control unit for trailer detection

Trailer detection: If a trailer is coupled to the tractor vehicle, the camera of the trailer is displayed; in operation without a trailer, the camera of the tractor vehicle is displayed. Using the control unit enables automatic switching between the camera images (tractor vehicle and trailer)

• Simple integration between MMT3 and HSD connecting cables
• Application preferably with the extension for preparation for rear-view camera, connection behind cab 0PHIK 
• Operating voltage 12 V

Notes

• Compatible with the MMT3 power supply output and the MAN HSD connecting cables
• Can be used universally with all common analogue camera systems
• Control unit ECE R158 compliant 
• For up to and including i-level 25-1, it is recommended to use only NTSC cameras to avoid possible image errors in the display.  
• For lorries with OptiView system/front mirror replacement, software package 81.25891-8085 (function parameter 81.25891-3346) can optionally be used to cancel the suppression of reversing motion in trailer operation.
