How apprenticeships work at MAN

Your apprenticeship at MAN

Find the right path for you and choose your favourite profession from a wide range of apprenticeships. You will work on various projects during your apprenticeship, attend seminars and training courses and quickly gain experience in your professional life.

Introduction days

The first few days in a new company are important. That's why we provide you with targeted onboarding to help you settle in quickly and effectively at MAN. Here you will get to know your trainers, your colleagues and all the important contacts and stations.

Your assignment with us

All training courses and seminars that provide you with the necessary expertise and skills for your career at MAN take place in our specially equipped training centre. During your training, you will be deployed in various specialist areas, where you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have learnt directly in practice. This allows you to quickly gain professional experience. In addition, your vocational school is always close to the respective location. This not only saves you long journeys, but also guarantees you a close connection between theory and practice.

How to apply

All applications are made via our online job portal. Here you have the opportunity to apply directly for an advertised position.

The application process starts in September of the previous year when the vacancies are advertised. The application deadline for a specific training position can be found in the respective job advert.

We require the following for your application via our job portal:

  • CV and cover letter
  • Last school report (annual/intermediate report) or leaving certificate (if available)
  • Student internship certificate and other certificates (if available)

All applications received online are reviewed by our Recruiting department and a shortlist is then drawn up. You will then be invited to a job placement test. Depending on your score, you will then be invited to an interview. Following this interview, you will receive feedback as to whether you have been successful.

You apply online in our job portal for the respective apprenticeship position.

To apply for a job at MAN, you need a qualified school-leaving certificate.

The vocational school is always located near the respective MAN site.

The training programme is divided into a practical phase and a theoretical phase at the respective vocational school. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your horizons by attending seminars.

Our trainees have the opportunity to be taken on permanently. This means that your job is secure after your apprenticeship and you can start straight away.
