Economical engines, improved aerodynamics and many other efficiency-enhancing innovations effect fuel savings with improved engine options.
If you want to stay ahead, you need a reliable driveline system. To guarantee this, there is no way too long for MAN. In the new MAN TGX, powerful and efficient D20 and D26 engines deliver more payload while saving fuel at the same time. The semi-automatic MAN TipMatic 12 gearbox – providing less unladen weight – as well as dynamic torque adjustment and speed reduction with MAN EfficientRoll ensure even more economical driving. This reduces fuel consumption in long-haul transport with very low average speed decline.
Further, stronger, more efficient.
The motto of the MAN D26 is: “There’s still room for more”. It offers a significante payload advantage, additional power and higher torque.
Lighter, smarter, more efficient.
If less is more, we simply shift down a gear. For example, this applies to our new MAN TipMatic 12 shift system. This semi-automatic gearbox has twelve forward and two reverse gears and offers significant added value compared to comparable gearboxes with more gears: Less fuel consumption as well as a lower unladen weight and thus correspondingly higher payload. These are strong reasons for us to rely on MAN TipMatic 12 for all heavy-duty semitrailer tractors in future.
Outstanding payload ratio and optimised thermal management with improved common rail injection system.
