With our TGE, we want to make an important contribution to climate protection. As our customer, you can help us achieve this aim by returning your "old" TGE to authorised collection points. Be the final link in the chain and ensure that valuable raw materials are not lost.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) publishes the annual reports on end-of-life vehicle reuse/recycling/recovery rates, which you can view here:
Annual reports on end-of-life vehicle reuse/recycling/recovery rates in Germany | Procedure | BMU
In our Climate Strategy 2020, we have defined key targets for reducing CO2 emissions. A fundamental part of these key targets relates to preserving resources.
Our product development for the TGE is embedded in a technical development environmental management system certified according to ISO 14001. The parts of the TGE are also labelled according to their materials and checked for their ability to be recycled and reused as per ISO 22628:2002.
As a MAN customer, you can make an important contribution to environmental protection and ensure that no valuable raw materials are lost.
Together with partner companies, we have developed a comprehensive network of authorised scrap vehicle collection points and certified dismantling facilities in Europe. You can return your "old" TGE to these points free of charge as long as it meets the national statutory regulations.
Find out about our authorised acceptance and collection points for environmentally friendly recycling in line with regulations.
An overview of the collection points can be found here: Acceptance points
