World’s largest refinery
The world’s largest refinery commences operation in Jamnagar (India). With products from MAN Turbo, several hundred thousand barrels of oil are to be produced at the new refinery every day.

Using a local resource
Of the 15.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas supplied in Germany, 94% comes from Lower Saxony. Also compressors of MAN Turbo contribute to the natural gas supply from domestic sources.

New benchmark for
high-pressure compressors
Crude oil is pumped from a depth of 5,000 meters in Southern Oman. Most of the oil fields are in the inland deserts. This is also the case with the Harweel field in the south, for which MAN Turbo delivered two compressor systems as well as the corresponding infrastructure.

New market for TGX and TGS
MAN Latin America is the latest division in the MAN Group, representing the gateway to the entire South American commercial vehicle market.

After Sales is paying off
MAN Diesel has specifically expanded its service business during the boom years. The investments are now paying off when the order book is considerably thinner, as Dr. Stephan Timmermann, executive board member of MAN Diesel explains in an interview.

Eco-friendly power plant engines
MAN Diesel supplies eco-friendly engines for power stations to Brazil and Australia.

Offshore power generators
Renk gears ensure high performance in Germany’s first offshore wind park.
