Your studies (at a university of applied sciences, university or technical university) provide you with important theoretical knowledge. During an internship at MAN you will have a professional daily routine, which is an experience that will ease the start of your career.
At MAN, interns are deployed in positions with practical relevance where their tasks are a mix of project work and operational routine. This in-depth experience of professional daily routine gives them work-related knowledge and skills as well as insight into an international company. In addition, they make useful contacts for a possible subsequent career at MAN.
An internship generally lasts between three and six months. Shorter internships are in principle also possible after consultation with the specific department.
In Germany internships are possible in the following areas:

- Logistics/Materials Management

- Information Systems/Organization
- Controlling
- Finance and Accounting
- Personnel Management/Legal Department
- Purchasing

Send us your application in English or the relevant local language at least six months before you wish to start the internship:- In your covering letter, indicate your field of study, the preferred period of work and the area where you would like to work.
- Include a CV and your preliminary degree certificate in your application.
- It helps if you have already had an internship or training with MAN, but this is not a prerequisite.
- Good English language skills are a basic requirement.
- Your internship contract will be with the relevant location, i.e. remuneration will depend on the local conditions of the country in question. The intern is responsible for their own flights, visa and accommodation costs.
