As part of the NRW scholarship program MAN supports talented students from the RWTH Aachen University with scholarships, since we firmly believe that enthusiasm for progress should be encouraged early on. Our scholarships not only relieve your financial situation but also help you focus on preparing for your career. (For example, scholarship holders will be invited to seminars and events or to plant visits during which they can get to know MAN employees.)
Scholarship program "Deutschlandstipendium":
MAN wishes to promote outstanding young scientists as much as possible and has accordingly made up its mind to take part in the "Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship program. This will enable particularly talented students with an excellent track record to concentrate entirely on their studies and give them enough scope to put their ability to full use. The funding of the scholarships amounting to 300 euros per month is split equally between the State and private sponsors, companies and foundations.
It is left to the uinversity's discretion to choose who is to be awarded a scholarship. Not only above-average results but other criteria are taken into consideration: these include voluntary social commitment, looking after relatives or overcoming particularly difficult biographical hurdles. Apart from providing financial support, the scholarship scheme also offers complementary support in the form of special programs designed by the sponsoring institutions.
